Sparrow, my Compact Friend knows that I am happy to act as part of a "wagon train" so f somebody can help getting it to me I will ensure it gets to Steve.

Other opinions may be available but this one is always correct.

There are a few people that live near Rampton a look at the census will reveal;l all, however, I suspect none will be willing to transport something to Derbyshire for you Steve.

Don’t need it transporting anywhere

At the moment!

Just needed a wheel picking up and keeping for a while.

That’s if I buy it, may be gone now.

I have arranged for couriers to pick up "collect only" parts several times no problem.
Arranged with vendor to leave in the Geraniums or wherever if at work. Got a price, paid up front - sorted.
One was a Goldstar cylinder head.

I got involved in a 'Real Classic' courier run once. It involved stuff from Notts Ian being dropped at Burtie's (SteveB) who then transferred it to me at a Premier Inn where I was staying at Derby. I took it to Paul Compton... er... can't remember his forum name... at Dunstable.

Not from Ian, it was surplus material from a job I did in Leicester,
