Sad day today

Just sold one of my bikes that I have owned for 10 years. Very sad helping load it into the van of it's new dad

It was my Honda NC35. I bought it from A10newbie in 2011. Had some great fun with it especially at the festival of 1000 bikes as it was the perfect track bike. No Andy it's not going to be replaced. I now have two race bikes so that gives me a spare if anything goes wrong with the other one at a race meetings. Two road bikes one for summer use and one for winter plus one classic my Honda CB750 which will be used for charity classic bike runs and shows. So that all I need.....I wont buy another bike, I wont buy another bike, I wont buy another bike. `

Nice! The 916 drop-dead-gorgeous looks but possibly more realistic performance for the road. I used to ride with 2 mates who had one of each. The 748 was usually quicker A to B even tho' it lacked the outright top speed of the 916 on the faster bits of their favourite (ahem) private road, honest officer.

I had a 916 Will but found anything under 70mph was very uncomfortable. Only kept in 3 months but still the sexiest looking bike I have ever owned. This was mine.

I have just the 3 now - seems to be the optimum amount for me.

The Himalayan is the general purpose / mainly winter bike, while the H2 is for summer "hooning" / "vintage" bike runs, and the Spudmasher hopefully for laid back Spring / Summer / Autumn rides either solo or with the other half from time to time.

Although I have had the Spudmasher since around Oct last year I have not yet ridden it (except for the test ride) - it's too damned clean to take out in the winteR weather.

Would really love another project, quite fancy another MZ for some strange reason but prices have got stupid even for a wreck.

Unless something else grabs my attention it will be 3 bikes for the foreseeable.

Think I learned my lesson with the Kawasaki Hybrid never to get another "special" - getting insurance is just too painfull.

Who needs a signature anyway......

I have 4 but really i do not need the BSA Spitfire. I might let it go one day but it is a lovely ornament. Goes out about 3 times a year. The springing is a bit hard for my bones.
