When my hair was longer than the old mods.

This was taken in my very first years racing in 1972 at Brands Hatch. The old mod and me were engaged but didn't get married for another 2 years. Well you cant rush these things.

Here was me in that self and same year of 1972 (it was a very good year!) with my hair longer than my Fay's, although you can't see it quite as well.

My new 1972 Yamaha R5 350 with auxiliary lights (I rode it everywhere, day and night), and the rear quarter of my mother's 1965 Mercury Comet 404 2-door sedan ...

What, were you like that Japanese soldier on Guam who kept fighting for 20 years because he didn't believe the war was over?

Hope you weren't loading .50 caliber ammo and Mk 43 500 pounders too ... !!

That Lanc is currently being restored to flying condition and apparently that Mustang was a deathtrap, although used in the film "The Mercenaries".

Jerry - you look a lot like my brother in that photo his hair was very similar - I say was, he is a bald a coot now.

Andy this was taked last year at Cadwell Park and I'm lucky to still have all mine at 76 years old although maybe I cheat a bit with the colour. Dont tell anyone. Oh and dont tell them my age they all think I'm 17

Mine's getting very long. Never made an appointment for a haircut and don't intend to start now.

My daughter-in-law cuts mine. Saves me about $240 a year.

Jerry, your picture reminded me of the one I took at Snetterton, it's filed under J with this bloke, who ever he is, I think he also had something to do with motorcycles.

A pensioner pal sent me this pic, dates from a time when I had hair, probably 1979.

Only one survivor now.

About 1954 or 1955. White hair then and white hair now.

I was always dressed in frocks. Funny habit i grew out of later.
