On a Saturday night was always hard to get out and you still had to find your bike first. Happy Daze.

Like trying to get out of the car park of the Rex cinema in Haslemere after a top film had been shown.

Stone me Hampy, you and I probably had the same early life ,Up the Golden Hind, early PM then make a frothy coffee last about 3 hours how Len & his brother ever made a living out of us I don't know, then down to Shottermill pop into the cafe there ,and along to the Rex for the latest offering, Summer holiday or Jail House Rock, or some such offering. that would be after the dance at Shottermill Village Hall on Saturday night. or may be the Fox& Pelican in Grayshot boy where have those halcyon days gone

I can remember paying a visit to the 59 club. I went with a few fellow Brumies from our equivalent the "Double Zero Club" London was an awful long way for us to go.

I remember leaving the 59 Club when it was just off Hackney Road in the 1970s. It was usually a rather over enthusiastic thrash thru' the city & along the embankment to the burger stand on southside of Chelsea Bridge, followed by drag races from the roundabout in Queenstown road back up to the bridge. Amazingly the police never stopped it although they did cruise by once in a while. Perhaps they knew the burgers where a greater risk to public safety?

Hi mate, no Snetterton this year for the classic club which does surprise me.
April 17th/18th - Castle Combe
May 8th/9th - Mallory Park
June 12th/13th - Pembrey
July 3rd/4th - Cadwell Park
July 31st/August 1st - Donington Park
September 4th/5th - Anglesey
October 2nd/3rd - Croft
Just hope it happens this year and I get out on track.
