Well I am having a day off today, all the small jobs around the house I said I would do I have.

Taxed the Him yesterday so you can guess what I am doing this afternoon - even if it is a little cold.

Get yer motor runnin'..........

It only rained for the last 3 or 4 miles, and it tipped down, and yes I had my waterproofs!!

Also had a "sixpence half crown" moment riding along a small back lane when I encountered some mud on a steep hill left by tractors.

Only saw the mud as I came around a corner and was riding at a sensible speed.

Temp was between 8 & 12 degrees according to the Him temp gauge, and did about 60 miles.

It was great to get out and about again.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Started up the blue Jawa this morning in preparation for March 28th. I took no special precautions last time I rode it in November as I thought I'd be using it again shortly. It was parked up with half a thankful of E5 fuel, the float bowl must have been full of the stuff, and the battery hasn't been on a charger. Started 4th kick (it's normally 3rd kick after a weeks lay off) and revved up perfectly, as per normal....

You don't have to be crazy to post here, but it helps....

My Hinckley bikes have not been started in over 6 months now. batteries are kept charged in anticipation of Nocovid day celebrations.

I was wondering just how these 'variants' are ending up in countries so far away.
Thinking either the travel restrictions aren't stiff enough or people are being downright dishonest.
Then I saw the scenes at Heathrow the other day showed hoards of young people in check in - looked like were all on a f****ing gap year!
