I currently have two parcels being delivered to me by Hermes. Their tracking system has multiple entry capacity in each of the normal progress areas. Click on the specific area and a drop down will explain where your parcel is in the process. Mine actually shows that they have collected, that it has arrived at their central hub, that it has been collected from that hub and is now at their local depot/distribution centre and the next change will be when it is despatched to me, which I believe will be tomorrow. If they run true to form they will text and email me tomorrow morning to confirm a delivery time.
I really never understand what the problem is with understanding their delivery information. After all just what do you expect them to tell you? The moving of millions of random size, shape and weights of parcels to just about any or every postal address every day of the week is an inordinately complex logistical problem. While we are warmly tucked up in our beds at night just remember that their warehouse staff and drivers work through the hours of darkness just to deliver in what seems like an ever diminishing time frame expectation.
Other opinions may be available but this one is always correct.
