Anyone out and about today?

Anyone takiing advantage of the bank hol and fine weather?

Planning on taking the H2 out and about this aft.

As usual been catching up on DIY / Garden this morning here.

Fair few bikes going past my place this morning.

Who needs a signature anyway......

I have been polishing my new paint. I try to avoid riding on holiday times when car traffic is heavy. No fun in it riding around the common keeping a sharp eye on a car doing 35 mph in front and braking at every bend. Tomorrow is to the Midlands autojumble and waste more money on rusty old metal.

Not to bad aorund here today Geoff, did a nice solid 50 odd miles or so this afternoon - very pleasant.

Just got home from a couple of days in Normandy. Note temporary bodge to sidestand that failed again in the ferry queue.

Well yesterday woken up by somebody hammering building a porch over their entrance sun came out after the fog then the farmer spread cow shit an the fields so windows and door shut due to the stink..oh the joys of living here...

You should think yourself lucky. A farmer in Walkern Herts near my MiL used to spread Chicken manure and that could be smelt miles away in Stevenage.

Done chicken manure when living at Belstone on Dartmoor they used chicken crap from the chicken farm Maz worked there sorting the eggs and at changeover thats when the old chikens went out and new came in the old had to be loaded at night to cause less disruption and noise 20,000 a shed three sheds not a healthy place ..

I was out and about today.

After coming home I thought I’d try the patent MCA cable oiler on the twin carb throttle cables. Found the twistgrip to splitter section was frayed at the splitter end and one of the splitter to carb cables showed wear. They’ve been in place since about 1998.

Had new cables hanging from the shed roof, but I find they’re thicker and the inners are longer. We’ll get there!
