Yes martin a June 1971 was re-imported in 1989 with frame supplied in black instead of the grey.

Very neat and tidy. I would like that rear mudguard please. They are hard to find and i need a good one for my T120r.

Not a lot of those oil in frame A65s around. They look very good with the engine that was supposed to be in that frame. I would like my Spitfire engine to be in it as it is a smoother engine than a Triumph.
I wonder how many were built ?

She handles really good ,ok seat height is a bit higher than my 1970 lightning,also does not vibrate as much as the lightning,it has the SRM main bearing coversion with end of crank oil feed ,i think the oil in frame bikes were always underated,i do like my unit twins

Pretty bikes Dave. I like the oif frames better than the older ones. They just do corners a lot better. I raise you a 67 Spitfire i have owned for 13 years now. underused due to the better comfort of the T120r

Dave, i paid 2300 pounds for it running but needed tyres,carb repairs and change cables,chain and engine sprocket. The fibreglass tank was lined by cutting the bottom off and glassing inside then put the bottom back on. I suppose i spent 3000 including the purchase price. Its been on some Dartmoor runs and 100% reliable so far. Fitted with a Hornet engine about 40 years ago so i suppose the original had blown up.
