Famous last words...

I'm selling my bikes! I've been moving this way for about 6yrs but since I don't actually ride them anymore I might as well let someone else enjoy them.

Enfield Woodsman 500cc kick and electric start, v long MoT, FSH, lots of Hitchcock's bits. £3150

BMW R100RT Mono, 35k, massively detailed history, long MoT, surefoot, Givi topbox, heated grips etc etc. Top condition. £4150

Don't laugh, mock or otherwise tell me I'm talking rubbish - I'll take that as granted!!

Yes, but Simon has a week to sell before July then a cooling off for 2 weeks in July and another purchase may take 2 weeks. Early August, bikes will be on the driveway.

i think when the time comes when i'm too old to ride ..i'll keep one bike in the shed just to look at and wheel it about just to remember the good times

I will be doing exactly that. My B33 which I have had for close on 50 years will be my piece of art to look at and reminisce.

That sounds like a plan perhaps I should keep all three. What will I do with the Velo or should one of the BSAs go. The Velo is in a friends garage.

That's the way to do it Al!

At last the medics have allowed me to get back in the garage and (within reason whatever that is) get back on a bike. It is prefered that I use the Flash & a Box 'cos I can't tumble over with it.
After the consultant lady had givn me the go ahead she looked at the paperwork then at me and said "you're 80!"
