I need help.

Both race bikes all done and ready for the 2023 race season My road going Honda CBR400 NC23 all done. Just finished a full service on my winter hack Suzuki Bandit. All good and ready for the winter rides, but why did I end up polishing it and now I won't want to take it out in bad weather. Why have I got this problem that I cant own a dirty motorcycle....HELP!!

Same here, if it gets dirty it gets cleaned right away. Never owned a car or bike that i did not clean a lot. It started with having to buy all my bicycles etc myself so had to look after them.

For a winter hack, look up Honda PC800 - won't stop you cleaning it but it's covered in bodywork like a car ... or a scooter

- easy to jet-wash.

Honda Pacific Coast 800 (aka PC800) has brilliant weather protection for the rider & vast built in luggage, and in those resects is one of the all time great bikes......but (and there's usually a but isn't there?) it's all rather too good to be true and is actually disappointing to ride. Its like a Deauville in a Saville Row suit = great for business men going to work, dull for any red-blooded rider more used to leathers and fun!

The same Jerry always looked after my bikes never had a garage but a shed when I bought this place I needed a double garage and a living space..

A schoolmate`s father bought a brand-new Ford Pilot in the '50s, he had to lie underneath the car and wash that as well as the outside.

V8 pilot, now that stirs the grey matter. A built in jack at each corner. My mate had one but wouldn't sell it to me so I bought a Ford Consul. Two days after I had bought it he appeared on my doorstep to ask me if I still wanted to buy it! I was sick.

When I started work, I saw quite a few brand new Ford V8 engines scraped. We used to removed them from new Ex WD field welding sets, and fit Ford 4D Diesels .

A close friend of mine, now sadly departed, had a V8 Pilot, took the V8 out and swapped it for a Ford Cosworth engine, from a Sierra I believe, and said it was fantastic to drive. Surprised quite a few hot-hatch drivers away from the lights at times. I believe it may still be around Cornwall somewhere.
