Like the advice on the radio telling us to put extra clothing om when its cold out. Best one when driving on the motorway when the sign says rain could be wet road surface. Got to wonder how all us old farts survived without this incredible information and help!!

We managed with ice on the inside of the windows and just a fire in the grate..Christmas mum get the shovel and take the hot coals into the front room to cheer us up..hot water bottles yes..
So now living in luxury

As said before, car owners handbooks used to tell you how to adjust the tappets and set the ignition timing, now they tell you not to drink the battery acid. It's a sign of the times I'm afraid...

You don't have to be crazy to post here, but it helps....
