Shepton Mallet classic bike show

Its on the weekend with tickets a bit sharp at 17 quid on the gate. It is a good show though with free parking. Autojumble so you can buy some broken rusty parts

Plenty of RE parts Leon, they are collected as the bikes journey to the show.

Looking forward to it. Tickets were much cheaper in advance. I'll be there, as usual, an hour early to watch people get out of their cars and put their bike boots and leathers on before going in.

Which day are you going, Geoff?

Sounds like the Hardly gathering here in Aviemore on the (English) August Bank Holiday weekend - attenders get out of their cars and vans at their accommodation, take their wheelie cases into their accommodation, emerge dressed in leathers and boots to walk into town ...

That said, still a good craic ...

At the Ardingly show these days it's a sad fact that each year more and more get out the car to assemble their mobility scooters.

Simon, i am going with Steve the boy on Saturday. Yes it is Mortons who are collecting a lot of money for 2 days considering the bike displays are all done by the owners and the stallholders also pay a fee to sell. The horsemeat sellers probably pay 2k to sell. Nice little earner but its a good event and the only one down this area
