Electric shaver miracle. o/t

I have used electric shavers all my life since I couldn`t handle a cutthroat razor my father bought me when I started growing fungus. A Sunbeam lasted me nearly 20 years before I couldn`t buy parts for it anymore. Then Phillips for $100 in the `80s is still used occasionally with the original cutters.
When I retired I bought a Braun 3615 and then a couple of Phillips which I didn`t like much, and the last one was a Remington.
Any way, I got the Braun out again and found that it still held a charge and could be charged up again and gave a really close shave; so I am using it again and it shaves closer than all the previous ones. Maybe my face is changing.

Still use Gillette cheapest..twenty in a pack I can make one last two weeks

. But do have Braun with trimmer for high days and holidays (very rare) but handy for trimming the beard

I still manage with my clockwork shaver. So, they make them with electric motors now ?

I still have a Phillishave thats around 40 years old,still works OK and battery still holding up, only need recharging once a week and it charges up with 20 mins. Not sure what sort of battery it has but has lasted far longer than any others.

I wear a beard - couldn't be bothered with the shaving malarky.

2 minutes once a fortnight with the clippers & a 3mm guide - sorted !

I couldn`t eat soup if I had a beard. I've seen the mess others have made at the dinner table eating with beards.

I got tired of scraping my face with a steel blade every morning, and grew a full set.

Now my barber deals with it once a month....

I grew a beard back in the 70's. When I went to the pub it drank more of my beer than I did
