Fire in the hold....

Have been thinking about selling the H2.

But after firing it up for the first time this year after it's winter tune up / fettle I just cant.

Hearing that cocophony of the exhausts, all of the rattles from the engine and that glorious 2 stroke oil smell , and the clouds of blue smoke it makes when cold made me change my mind.

Stuff Greta.........

Probaby take it out soon and give it a shakedown.

Who needs a signature anyway......

I'd love to have one, but prices for nice ones are north of 20K here....

I was lucky with this one, I payed 5K for it as a non runner about 7 or 8 years ago, which at the time seemed to be about the going cost, arguably cost me nothing since I sold my KH 500 for 5.5K to fund the purchase.

Probably spent another 3K on it over the years - mostly on the JL Expansion chambers.

It can be a bit of a beast though.

Unless you're absolutely set on an Aitch Two or One, consider an S2 350 ... if you want to know where Yamaha later got the idea for the giant-killing LC 350 ... Mind, the early S2's top end and drum front brake can do more for bowel movement regularity than any amount of roughage ...
