Another shop goes

Peter Hammond Motorcycles in Cirencester closing after 63 years. Recently was a Yamaha agent but also supplier of classic Brit bike spares. Lovely old fashioned building and workshop. Sad to see it go.

Sad that not many youngsters want to to over these lovely old established places. Also in these modern times the rents or leases etc just become too expensive.

Very sad My pal Mick Hunter Is about to leave the premises He has inhabited for 40+ years the owner has sold to developers and he has to be out by end of April he still has plenty of classic Brit bikes for sale I guess about 30 odd & fortunately has managed to find somewhere to keep them but its not somewhere he can run comercialy from. he is a Norton expert,and also has a huge knowledge of most other marques. sadly he has a big stock of brit autojumble too (we often laugh most of it has done more miles in the back of his van than on a motorbike) his knowledge will be a huge loss too.

The Little BSA Fleetstar I owned for some years (10 or so) came from Peter Hammond originally.
