Any idea when the picture was taken, and are the 2 pictures in the cartouches anything to do with the factory?

Also were they based in Coventry?

Andy that picture will date from 1937 as the front is decorated to celebrate the coronation of King George V1.

I thought those were fork handles. Funny how we can see different things looking at the same picture ...

Most Lucas site's now a distant memory I'm afraid, though I think the former Lucas Aerospace factory in Shaft more Lane, Hall Green is still there but now owned by Goodrich IIRC.

You don't have to be crazy to post here, but it helps....
