Ah well....

Did not make Shepton Mallet today, partly down to apathy, and partly down to some DIY that I needed to do.

At least I did not spend any money on tat, sorry hard to get spares

Managed 40 miles on the Him - very pleasant today.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Well, I did but after an hour got a call from my wife saying that she was in A&E after tripping in a pothole and cracking her head on the kerb. So dashed back home and spent the next four hours in Gloucester Hospital waiting for a skull x-ray. All well, thank goodness, and safely home. Pretty swift NHS service in fact.

I did that, or similar, during lockdown. That's when I found out the road surface is a lot harder than I remembered from my younger days. My sympathy and best wishes for a speedy recovery to your wife David.
