Well it's a nice day......

As it is such a nice day, I took the KH fork stanchions down to the Engineering shop, hopefully have them done for next Friday.

Mike was right they do it with a press, 3 V blocks, some shims and a dial gauge - bloke explained teh process, it is pretty simple.

Just going to go out for a late afternoon run on the Trident since it is still light so I can see the potholes

P.S. According to weather predictions they are expecting another Indian Summer in early October, so if they are right dont put your bikes away yet and get out the winter hacks.

Supposed to be piddling down tomorrow.

I do hope "they" are right.
Maybe by then my legs will work well enough to be allowed to drive a car and me & 'er can get out somewhere. Obviously bikes are way away in the future but I am hopeful.
In the meantime I can enjoy other folks outings

Though the effects of pneumonia & covid are taking some shaking off the corner has been turned. Getting help from physio lady visiting twice a week now.
