British Superbikes Thruxton

As Eurosport is showing non stop olympics Quest on free view channel 5 will be covering the racing for both days. If you love bike racing like me set you recorders or sit down and be entertained.

I've done quite a few days at Thruxton at controlled IAM training days.
Its big, wide open and very very fast.....scarily so for a strictly road only rider like me.....but huge fun and way beyond my skills.
Thank God for modern bike electronic "rider aids" to save me from crashing.
I can only vaguely imagine what its like to actually race!

Yes Andy I did the Thruxton 500 miler in 1977. We won the 500 class. I was riding a Mocheck 460 Honda.

Today's races were even better than yesterday. Exciting dies not do it justice.
