Found a camera route out

Today I had to do a test ride on my Suzuki as I'm trying to find a small oil leak from the front of the engine. I have totally degreased the front of the engine and have just been out and done around 10 miles and think I may have found it. Best thing was I took some advice and at long last a have found a route away on to the A3 and back where I can miss the dreaded ULEZ tax cameras. Means going around the houses on a few back roads but if it saves me giving that little s..t of a London mayor £12.50 every time I'm not bothered.

It won't make much difference Andy. I tend to only ride weekends anyway. Not a lover of riding in the week preferer to be out when other bikes are.

I would be covering the rear plate as many around here do to avoid the speed cameras. Some have a hinge fitted so can pull it horizontal.

For some reason, the traffic is heavier on weekends than during the week. That might change now that the Government has made all fares on trains, trams and busses,50 cents.
As shopping centres surround me, it only takes me a few minutes to reach any of them.

Blue badge is OK for motorcycle parking but to use it for ULEZ, you would need to be in receipt of P.I.P benefits as well to be exempt. Blue badge is not usable in Central London as they have their own disabled badge system.
The problem with blue badge on a motorcycle is it will get nicked if not in a bolted on case

That works alright Bryan. I have not used my badge on a bike as i have no security but its been great for my car since 1979 when i got the first one.

My mother had a Blue Badge. My mother never drive a vehicle of any kind and did not even want a licence. I used it when we visited her.

Other opinions may be available but this one is always correct.

Blue badge is a great scheme, however, i cannot use mine in my own Town as the Local Council do not accept it. If i park in Devon County car parks, i can use it. On our seafront, i can park on one side of the road free but have to pay on the other side. I cannot park in Town car parks but can park outside the car park on double yellow lines.
You do need to read the signs and exclusions. Pretty much all of the area as far as Torquay has Councils that will not allow the blue badge but Exeter, i can park. Its a minefield here for regulations. Wonford hospital, i can sign in for free parking for 6 Months then sign in again.

Yesterday another sewage pipe has burst and sewage flowing into the sea this is the fifth time sewage spills ..in a few months time the main road into Exmouth will be closed due to work being done in other parts of town so everyone will probably be driving to work down the road past my place as they already do..

A lot of roadworks locally Dave,they are diverting all the traffic normally coming from Withycombe, up my road. Of course, the rigid lorries cannot go around the 90 degree corners so chaos happens every day.The Woodbury road has always been a bit of a rat run if the Exeter road has roadworks.
