Morinis

Getting bored with the KH - after being spoilt by the 750 and 500, the 400 just does not have enough grunt for me, feels like you are riding at 9/10 all of the time, so might be looking for a change.

Would like to keep a "classic" hence been looking at MZs, but Morini's hold a lot of appeal, paricularly the 3 1/2 which seems to have a better rep than the 500.

I must say that a 400 Speed does press all of the buttons except the "classic" one - perhaps a future classic, or might just be the sensible choice.

Anyone any experirnce of Morinis ?

Who needs a signature anyway......

We used to have a chap on here ( Mark?) who came from Stevenage, just down the A1 from me. He was into Morinis . He was making a model of one but he disappeared off here when Martin Gelder died as the site disappeared for a while.

Go for it. The 31/2 is utterly fantastic. You won't believe it's a 350!

Hmm encouraging replies thus far.

Reading a few articles on the web it seems that these bikes like to be revv'd, so am I just going from one rev hungry bike to another?

Having said that most write ups seem favourable.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Has anyone seen the Honda 350 single I've only seen it in a magazine the road test quite impressive and I think it looks good

The problem with the GB500 was that Honda never got their money for them; and the purchasers had to wait 20 years for the money.

Here, Honda couldn't give away GB500s when they were new. Now, people hold on to them like they were a favorite teddy bear, big money

AFAIK this is an Indian market only model.

Built to compete with the RE 350s in that market, with similar performance.
