Just found out that another 13 year old lad has been stabbed to death and also a prison riot where 8 wardens were injured one seriously. Decided to turn on the news to find out more but hey ho the most important news today is the Oasis concert ticket site has crashed. Bloody hell that really is sad news. Thank goodness for the media that Starmer wants us not to listen to keeps us up to date with the state of our once lovely country. Sorry guys just fancied a little rant I will be out on my bike tomorrow if it's not p.....g down.

I recently had given to me three books to read on Prisons and prison life some written a few years ago and interesting to read that prisons all of them are at capacity so nowhere to put them
We now have a knife amnesty a lot of good that does they took the firearms away a lot of god that did and it cost the coffers a lot of money because they paid us compensation

Well, up here in the Midlands the lad who got stabbed was near the top of the news, so don't think anything's being kept from us.
Prison riots? So common they probably aren't considered news anymore.

Agreed about the Midlands news stories. Its tragic that in some areas fatal stabbings of teenagers is almost a daily occurrence, and get the frequent news coverage it deserves.

Will I grew up in a time when a murder made front page headlines now it seems it might get a small paragraph in the middle of the paper while front page news could be some famous footballer has a boil on his arse

The 2 adults stabbed at Notting Hill have died a week after the incident. No one charged yet

Wrong. People were charged over both incidents & those charges have now been upgraded to murder since deaths.

There are tens of thousands of incidents like that that don't support the Narrative of the mainstream media.

Even among this enlightened group, some one posted some months back that on Jan 6 2021, militias "armed with military - grade weapons" staged an insurrection at the US Capitol. Not even the most wildly leftist media are claiming that.

So you never know what people might be reading.

There actually IS a hope, one that the British founders of this country provided for in our Constitution.

But you guys have rejected all that, at least for now. Maybe that'll change when it gets bad enough.

Carrying,open or not is not on the cards here, they are too frightened of the indigenous anglo saxon.
you should see how draconian the police are.
A neighbour of mine used to put on a wild west show, cowboy shoot outs etc, entertaining for the kids at local fetes.
He had lots old blackpowder hand guns, rifles etc, an old boy,harmless,had shot guns for a bit of rabbit/pheasant liek lots in this rural area.

Shortly before he died the police turned up mob handed at his house and took all his guns away.

Why? his son who lived with him had been labelled a danger to himself and others because he was diagnosed as 'Depressed'

It's not "carrying" open or concealed that's the solution, although that is a personal defense thing.

It's being organized into local militias that do not depend on possibly corrupt or non-existent government entities (like Hessian mercenaries) to defend us.

Neck, that is a very contorted view of the action of the police. There first first objective is to preserve life. Guns in a house with a depressive, or somebody with other tendencies, are justifiably viewed as a danger, and the police will remove the weapons. Let us be clear THEY ARE WEAPONS, and are designed not as household ornaments but as a means of killing.

Americans defend their constitutional right to bear arms, and some/many have multiple weapons. At least we do not have the never ending cycle of mass shootings in our schools, nightclubs and shopping malls. Long may that situation continue. Imagine the carnage if those clowns that seen intent on stabbing each other has easy access to automatic side arms and rifles etc.

Other opinions may be available but this one is always correct.

The question we were discussing was "Will British society last much longer in the face of exploding immigration and lawlessness?"

After all the things you guys discuss about how quickly things are going bad, you can't just say "It'll be right" or "Cheer up, mate, it may never happen.". Too late for that.

Guns in question were blank firing replicas Mike.
Considering this very rural part of the world has ample weapons for despatching various wildlife I think it was a bit OTT.

Not knowing how long you are going back in time, and assuming it was a time when hand guns were legally allowed to be held on a class one firearms certificate then the "old man" should have had all listed firearms safely locked away in a secure cabinet. No-one else should have had access to them so I would doubt the reason you stated was the cause of the police raid. I don't doubt your statement that it did but if he legally held them on a firearm's certificate the police have a right to inspect them at any time and certainly wouldn't need to raid the place.

Guy in question was an 80yr old very aware of firearms legislation having to inform police everytime he gave one of his shows.

Well if he was very aware of the requirements of firearms legislation and he was fully aware of the needs to comply, coupled with the fact the police were fully aware they were imitation I stand by what I said, the police would have no reason to kick his door in and I can't see the justification for a judge to grant a warrant to do so. Again I have no doubt that what you said happened but I still say something else is going on in that house. If there isn't then he should consult with someone to understand his rights to sue for compensation.

Don't put words in my mouth, I never said they kicked his door in,they arrived,he let them in,they took his harmless guns away.
He was 80yrs olds, he's dead this last two years. No point in sueing.
He has a malicious neighbour who has been trying to get him and family to move out,suspicion falls on them

Wiltshire police,keen to show how good they are while they were under measures.

I have no time for the police these days, and I speak as someone who worked closely with police once.

The so called Anglo Saxons were in fact three different nationalities from Germany/Holland, Northern Denmark and Southern Denmark. They were in fact the Angles, the Saxons and the Jutes. They came to Angle Land when the Romans left from around 410 AD and until 1066AD.
