Nice Run Out

Dry day up here, so out on the ZX-9R for 'exercise'. I live on the 'unofficial' Morgan test route.
Having not ridden a bigger bike much for several years, am building up to longer trips, maybe next Summer. Couple of cars I came up behind indicated left & waved me past - don't get that on the 125!
The arms & legs aren't as painful as the initial rides I did, although I still find it a struggle getting on/off.
If the sun shines tomorrow, will tax the Blackbird & see how I cope with that. The footrest aint rearsets, & it has risers, but there's no getting away from the weight, 1 cwt more than the Ninja.
Also got the pre MoT fettle on the 125 to do.

I will be out on my Bandit tomorrow as the weather looks a bit iffy. Hope this time I have cured my oil leak otherwise its head off to replace oil return pipes and o ring seals.

Which Bandit have you got, Jerry? Know you've said before, but my memory isn't good nowadays. I tried an early carbed one, which I liked, & a later 1250FI one a few years back. That I wasn't so keen on.

Mines a GSF650S. It's a 2005 model and done just over 51 miles. Bought it as a winter hack but love it so much I also use it a lot in the summer. Reading reports on them they suffer from rotting down pipes so lucky for me mine had been fitted with a stainless complete exhaust system. I fitted Oxford heated grips so perfect for the very cold runs out especially with handlebar mits fitted as well. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a general good all round bike. They are also quite light so nice and easy in traffic.

Crap rideout on the Him this afternoon - windy pretty cold and the occasional shower.

Lovely sunny morning was hoping it would last so I could take the Spudmasher out, ah well.

Rain forecast for tomorrow.

Who needs a signature anyway......

We had a nice day up here as well, so dug the T160 out for a run up Loch Lomond and down to Inveraray, back home via Dunoon and the ferry. Beer time now I think

I stayed away from the heavy traffic and again on Sunday. Monday, the roads will be a bit less busy so i go out.
Gran Prix for Sunday at Monza with a British driver on pole again.

Yes Dildo Norris is doing pretty well - and is starting to make it look like Verstappen might have a fight on his hands.
