Probably going a lot faster and with a much higher loading than those tiny little wheels and tyres were designed for.

Scary.

Jerry has one on order for next years racing. We could all go and have a rave on those scoots. No knees out but plenty of shoulder barging

That's for me.

I've never understood why people get little weak mobility scooters that can barely get around.

Although EV technology is a permanent loser in our lifetimes for proper cars, it's perfect for mobility scooters.

Combine that with articulated axles and treads to climb stairs, and a few lights, I could go anywhere I need to go on a proper scooter. Thirty-five MPH and proper wheels, and I'd be off.

Since I wouldn't need multiple cars and bikes any more, all of that budget can go to procuring one; 50k would be achievable.

Change my mind....

Assuming I'll need a walker (Zimmer frame), or a cane or elbow crutches, there's bound to be a clever way to carry it. Just look at the things we've done in our riding careers to carry all sorts of awkward things on our motorcycles.

We bikers have got a leg up on solving this problem, since we've been doing it all our lives.... !

Next year, the fully faired clipon bars model is released.
I am waiting for the Gold Star version .

Not me. The "Gold Star" version will probably be a sad badge-engineered oriental paeudo-copy of the real thing if experience is any guide.

Nope, mine will be a quality, practical item that will at least keep up with the Amish buggies on our local roads....

Lannis, there are now many videos on youtube showing that the BSA Indian bike is very hard to sell used and many dealers not wanting them in Part exchange.
Not really sure why there is a problem but 1 year old bikes can be just £2000 now.

Well of course nobody wants them, after the initial euphoria of "Oh My God BSA is Making The Gold Star Again!". Like taking a cheap Tata sedan, sticking an Auburn hood ornament on it, and saying "Oh My God, Auburn is Back In Business!".

The reason is simple: If you make a novelty product that a limited number of people want to try, once they have all tried it there’s no one else left who wants it, and no sane trader wants to get lumbered with stock they can't sell. Its why those BSAs aren’t selling any more and why their 2nd hand values have slumped so far.

Also would it be that they are too heavy for the older riders who would be attracted to them. Most are downsizing to smaller lighter bikes.

That did cross my mind - perhaps it has been converted to run on methane, as the seat is on top of the engine
