Talking two--strokes

The McCullough line trimmer has been warned that if it plays up anymore, it`s going to the dump. It took me nearly twice as long to do the lawn edges because it wouldn`t feed the cord out when I bumped it on the ground, and then it took ages to start when it stopped for no reason. I`m WARNING YOU! The whole neighbourhood probably could hear me cursing it.

Thats why many of us keep a rabbit in the garden. It will trim the grass but still not been able to get the damn thing to start the strimmer

Leon - much as like 2 strokes, bin it !!

I bought myself a rechargeable strimmer a couple of years ago and never looked back.

It runs for ages between charges - "starts" when you want it, and also very light.

Before that I had a 2 stroke strimmer and I got fed up with the amount of times I swore at it because it would not start or run properly.

A piece of modern Tech that really does make life easier.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Andy I have never owned a strimmer that doesn't keep snapping the cutting cord. Can you recommend one?

Concrete slabs are the answer and sit in a chair watching the neighbours mowing grass.

Can I recommend one? not really, think they all have a tendency to do it to a greater or lesser degree.

My battery powered one is from Screwfix - one of the "Titan" range if they still do them.

Cord breaks sometimes but not that often, it will break if you run it up too close to things, this one has a guard on it to sop it doing it as much.

Who needs a signature anyway......
