Its just a design at the moment and looking at the effect it has had on Jaguar shares, it will not be made. Jaguar are not making any cars at all now but might re-start in 12 Months if they are not bankrupt.
Shame to lose the Jaguar brand but its Indian owned now anyway. They might name the new jaguar, delibelly

It is a monstrosity - saw it on the box last night.

One of the top Jaguar boss's who was interviewed said something like they wanted to break from the past, and appeal to a younger / affluent buyer.

Even if only a concept it looks awful.

Who needs a signature anyway......

I guess it doesn't really matter what we think because we're not the target audience.
Its well established that the vast majority on IKBA don't like or want modern futuristic design or electric vehicles.
This is meant to be a clean sheet new start for Jaguar severing all links to their previous incarnation and the stuffy old world of leather and walnut loving string-backed driving glove owners.
Personally I don't like it but as I know I'll never be buying one it doesn't matter.
Good luck to them, I hope its a huge success for this century like the revolutionary E Type was last century.

I will give them two years before they go bust. Any car maker today only building EV's won't last except maybe Tesla. Looks like Nissan has had it so lots of jobs going there.

Of course its got lights = LED strips in the rear panel as shown in some of the youtube videos from the launch event.

It might still work for them.

No one in history who has bought a new Jaguar at a Jaguar price has ever "needed" to buy one; has never "needed" to pay the premium over a Chevrolet or Citroen or Vauxhall.

They've always been the toys of people with massive disposable income. And those folks will always be around.

Jaguar has advised owners of their EV not to charge it fully of park it near a building or trees due to it igniting. Wait until these Evs burn a house down in the UK and there will be loss of life soon.
If i was buying a Jaguar, i would like a MK 9. Possibly not as good as you expected but looks nice.
My boy has owned many XJ6 types over the last 30 years but most end up broken very quickly after buying but they were old ones. One of his was the S models produced in the late 90s and that performed well with a 3 litre V6 motor. Very quiet and comfortable

I am only surprised it is Pink, I would expect rainbow colours.

I have no tolerance for the pink p*****t brigade that seem to be pushing its agenda every where.

I bought a new xj6, kept it for a year, it had its problems that they said had been sorted in the mk3, so bought another, but l it still had problems and I got my money back, then bought a new BMW 735, not such a nice car but more reliable, after a couple of years bought a new Range Rover, back to reliability problems, overheating, then gave up on expensive crap and went Jap.

My 2001 Mazda 626 has only had 2 replacement batteries, and two front tyres, originals are still on the rear, no light bulbs, one faulty electric driver`s side window motor, one set of spark plugs and one set of brake shoes.
Also, some of you will get a shock when you see your cabin filter.
