I am hardy!

For many years I haven't done this sort of thing but this afternoon I wandered over 50 miles without heated grips or a screen. Now I remember why they were invented but it was a lovely ride. Hot bath needed now!

Is that Wells Cathedral? Many years ago (40+), often parked bikes there - but they would have had oil underneath them...

It is. Things must have improved since then: one drop on the underside after fifty miles!

Thought it looked familiar, was there just a couple of weeks ago for my Daughters Degree Ceremony, twas a nice sunny day that day.

No salt / road filth round your way ? If I had taken one of mine out (which wouldn't happen - all SORNed since the end of November) it would have been plasterd well before 50 miles. The post ride clean-up would have taken longer than the ride itself !

Simple solution = ride further & for longer!!

Ha, no Nigel, I chose absolutely dry roads and although we have had gritters I appear to still have a sparkly bike
