One of Triumphs new offerings for 2025

The "Bobber" 1200 TFC Triumph Factory Custom, limited edition only 750 will be made.

From £17,195 OTR available March next year, makes mine look very dated

but then again I did not have to fork out 17k

Just not worth it. My Thunderbird LT 1700 was 14k with its luggage and capable of 400 miles a day with ease sitting behind a screen and with a contoured seat with a little back support. There are a large amount of these bobbers less than a year old being sold as riders find they are uncomfortable.
This might be Triumph just doctoring up some unsold stock to clear unsold standard ones.
Put that next to a Thunderbird LT and you would want to ride the Thunderbird every time

Good job we are all different in our tastes won't begin to say what I think of that but it's not good.

I agree. Standard Bobber was OK, this new limited edition is over done. Seems someone at Hinckley has lost their judgement......and good taste.

If you have to have black,black and black what are those gold bits that look like parcel tape stuck on the bike

To put quite a powerful engine near 100 bhp in a bike like that is asking for an accident. In 1200 form ,the twin is an excellent bike and that is why sales have been high. Not sure an old fashioned seasoned motorcyclist would even look at buying one as it might only be good for 30 mile rides. Not seen any of the bobbers out on a motorway. Soon be selling them off as pre-registered bikes like my Thunderbird sport back in 2000 sold to me brand new at close to half price. The dealer had 3 of that model and mine was already 1 year old so still had 1 year warranty left. 1 mile indicated on the clock and registered owner was Triumph motorcycles

The real limit of a Triumph Bobber is tank range not comfort. You run out of fuel long before numb bum can set in!

But you do occasionally see them outside of their natural habitat. I've seen them on track at both Castle Combe and Thruxton. At both riders were enjoying the performance but not the lack of ground clearance.

If you're worried abut them being overpowered don't Google "Thornton Hundred" or you'll see a 200bhp 170mph supercharged version. That was run at Goodwood a few years back to great applause.

Dosent look like anyone here will be buying one anythime soon then

Never been a fan of this so called "bobber" style. at least mine has 2 seats, and a decent amount of chrome bits!

Guess that being a "limited edition" they will get snapped up, but at 17k is well over priced.

Who needs a signature anyway......

I would have a standard 1200 if only i could change gear on it. Next bike i buy might be a step through auto ! although if its that bad i may just not bother and just keep one old bike as an ornament

Triumph have Don the same with the Speed Twin uprated the engine it was road tested in the MCN tarted up a bit more punch to the engine .still have scrappy mudguards the front sprays muck over the radiator the rear all over your back.. keeps the Accessories firms going..also it's £14,495.
And scrappy modern instrument
