Volvo gone

Spent a nice few hours at my sons work the ancient Volvo is now there for MOT then either sold off or used for picking up goods

Me trying out the Triumph scrambler must admit very comfortable and all controls in just the right place..
Second pic.an extremely rare early Porsche 356 with Grahams attention..( it's not cheap

Very unassuming looking car. I guess its rarity would only be appreciated by the cognoscenti.

The young lady doesn't seem impressed........

That's reception they took care of us
The car is virtually all original obviously things like wheel bearings and small bits replaced everything has been stripped out a serviced the engine the same repro stickers replaced unfortunately the owner had the paint re-done despite Grahams advice but all G. work price well north of hundred thou. Early bent screen modle.

Hi Dave (and anyone else interested),

If that's the Triumph you posted photos. of a few days ago, be aware it's just a lookalike, the bike isn't anything that can actually be used off-road. As well as previous mentions, the bike has the early road bike tank mounted solidly to the frame; not even Meriden did that on bikes intended to be used off-road, because that tank type cracks in fairly short order.

It's been built out of love for bikes it hasn't even been run it's a piece of artwork lots bits fabricated .. it stands on its own on display away from Milyards stuff that's a bit crude .. I did try the two bit V twin Ducatties they were difficult to sit on ..you obviously know the Triumph did you spot the footrests.?

No worries, found it ... I see what you mean certainly about the right-hand footrest ... left-hand the same?

I have What's Apped Graham and he said the tank has tubber bungees around the mounting bolts
When we raced our two Triumph Bonniviles I long proddie events the first thing that fractured was the top oil tank fixing then second was the silencer bracket tried rubber mountings but silencers were a different problem so wired them up
On the Velo it was the rear mudguard bracket
