I don`t know what I did, but it worked

That annoying McAfee ad has gone. I asked Microsoft to please remove it, then I went shopping, filled the Mazda with Caltex, came home, looked at the computer, and McAfee is gone.

It'll be in your <start up> files section. Location and zapping methods depend on operating system and individual set up per machine.

I can`t remove it because it is not in the system; it only tells me to install it.
It's just an annoying message that appears all the time.
