The shortest day - spring is on the way

I am always glad when the 21st arrives as it marks the point at which the hours of daylight lengthen as we head towards spring.

Wow you are right of course Andy, I had better get polishing them bikes ready for the spring.

Other opinions may be available but this one is always correct.

Ha! Last week I spent a few hours cleaning & polishing one of my bikes ready for its winter hibernation.

The other bike is of course the one I will be riding thru' the winter so little point in polishing

Which reminds me I must clean the Him, it has taken on quite a bit of crap / road dirt over the last few weeks of winter riding.

I have my Spitfire ready and willing for all year round again. Boxing day the Thunderbird might do the job for the annual ride to the seafront at Exmouth but it starts at Exeter so up and back

The other half had a compilation of 50s / 60s tunes on this afternoon in the kitchen - this one came up.

You are right it cannot come soon enough, at least after today the nights will slowly start getting lighter.

Hope I have enough time to get the KH finished.
