Just think of the competitors and hundreds of marshals yesterday and today plus overnight on the Exeter trial the oldest competition motor sport event Grahamis chief marshal for the single section. Competitors come from all parts of the country to various starting points the by road to the sections ..Just look it up well below freezing for the event

I just went out to put the bins back and decided no riding for me this weekend now I'm ex Wel'ard. Don't even want to go in the garage but I have to later, bloody hell I will be buying heated gloves next....oh hang on

Its 6 degrees here now and rising. I went on a short wall at 6.30am wearing my heated gloves. I did a test on them and the batteries last for about 6 hours which is enough for a bike ride then recharge takes about 1.5 hours with a digital readout to show percentage of charge. Clever these Chinese gloves at about 10 pounds. If i use them on a bike, just put normal gloves over them.
So, the heat lamp in the greenhouse was too bright so Today, i made a sheet copper covering that will be the heat sink and radiate the greenhouse. Works well set at 2C on the thermostat. Cost nothing as i had all the gear in the shed.

I certainly won't be out for my usual early Sunday start but hoping the forecast is right and it warms up & by midday so might get out then.
