Gutted of Londonstan

For the last 35 years Christmas Eve I go back to the road in Mortlake that I grew up in living with my grandparents. I go to our old house then end of the street where we used to play in the graveyard then a short walk to my first infant and junior schools. It's something that I really enjoy and brings back such great memories of a happy childhood. Yesterday I received a penalty fine through the post as after all these years the council have decided to make it a no drive zone during the day. I didn't know this and no way did I see any signs to warn me. I need to go back on foot and check the area out. Looks like after all these years someone has decided that I can't drive to my old house anymore. I just love living in this money making scam shit hole Londonstan. So glad my old grandparents and my parents aren't here to witness all this bloody madness. One very pissed off old rocker.

Totally agree I can't visit my fathers grave at Mortlake and the same for Mums and sisters at Hounslow.. I know it was my choice to move out of the area but...

We are mostly free of charges although East Devon council do not allow free parking in car parks for the blue badge but i can park on double yellows outside the car park. I notice Today that a lot of money is being allocated for cameras on the Barnstable road but they are leaving the potholes alone. I rarely enter any City now due to all these restrictions and bus lane traps

When I was little, Asbridge Street, next one to our our street was a "Play Street" with lollipop signs to confirm it.
Cars and motorbikes and the Coop horse and carts for milk and coal were still allowed, but it was up to them to avoid the kids.
1950s there was nobody else to blame if you were a pratt.
Simple.
