To a firm with the slightly dodgy title of leathersrus, Parcelforce & our very own MM...
Following a post on here, ordered a front wheel chock from Evilbay 24/1. Then realised I had not used a £5 off code. Mailed the sellers, had a mail back within 5 minutes saying it would be honoured & my card credited with the discount.
This am, 27/1, it arrived, via PF. Looks to be a solid piece of kit, same Xtron model as MM showed in his pics, & as a bonus my cats are happily asleep in the box.

So, 24 hours later...have you set he chock up and put a bike in it? Then of course have you also tried the paddock stand ? It should be a simple process now to lift the great end?

Bought myself a paddock stand last year.

The KH has to have its centre stand removed because of the spannies, so need some means of lifting it for chain / rear brake maintenance. Had to make some bobbins that fit over the rear axle as there is no other accessible lifting point.

The Speedmaster has no centre stand, and cannot be lifted with one of the scissor style jacks due to bits sticking out below the frame rails - have some bobbins on order.

Paddock stands take a bit of getting used to as you get that "is the bike going to fall over" moment when you lift it.

Who needs a signature anyway......

That is why I also recommended the use of a front wheel chick.

Paddock stands can be a bit tricky but I have been using them since I started racing in 1972 so you would think I have got the knack by now but it's so nice when someone helps in the race paddock otherwise it's a balancing act that could go wrong. Lucky I haven't dropped a bike yet!!!.

Yes, with the back/knee issues had those moments more frequently recently. Confess I'd never really heard of/considered a chock till MM mentioned it.

All assembled, but the Ninja 9 had it's Spring checkover & oil change last week, so no need to use it yet. The 'birds got a centre stand, so when I do its check up/change won't need it.
This was meant to go under MM's query above...
