Mad Mike

Unfortunately Mike was rushed to hospital last week kept in for a couple of nights on drips as he was very dehydrated. He had been suffering with a chest infection. After being sent home he still wasn't good so is now back in hospital and not very well. I am in touch with his Daughter Sarah so will keep you all updated when I get more information.

The oldest rocker in town!

Chest infections can be tough, hope they've got plenty of oxygen so he can breathe easy. Get well soon Mike!

Latest update on Mike is the hospital may have found what is wrong with him. Gall stones causing infected bladder causing toxins getting all round his body causing delirium and dehydration. He has now been moved to a different ward and put on antibiotics and fluids. Will update when I get anymore news. I have asked his daughter Sarah to pass on all our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

He might get the old vibrating treatment to shatter the stones. He should recover well with antibiotics and a week inside.
Some of these illnesses do cause the mind to appear crazy and it is scary. Often, that will stop after a day or two of medicine.
