Unfortunately he was not insured shame as the renewal came at a difficult time

200k losses and no insurance, hard to imagine the business ever rising from the ashes.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Insurance might not have worried him after running in that shed for many years with no problems. Of course, even if you insure it, without a regular electrical inspection, they would not pay out anyway.
I expect it would be high insurance having petrol inside. Many repair garages around here will not do welding due to the high insurance cost so my boy gets their work. Doing the sill of a Fiat Panda Today. 19 years old and just 1 hole so far.
He has no insurance as its a rented garage.

With no insurance things could be bleak for the customers who lost bikes bikes in the fire. The owner should at least have had third party cover for customers bikes.

He had a very serious bike accident and was in hospital for some time his insurance run out at that time so he didn't realise so it lapsed..
Any garage must have insurance against damage no matter what

There should be public liability cover at least just in case a customer is injured in the building or a bike he repairs injures a rider. Its a shame if you miss renewal though and this happens
