What's the consensus on how this company name is pronounced? Feked rhyming with "leaked" or Feked rhyming with "pecked"?
I'm going with the "leaked" version.

Aiui, it was spelled "Feked" 'cos they couldn't have a company called the better-known six-letter word beginning with "F" and ending with "d" ...

Hey, you know about these things.

Why did the folks who started this business think it would be a good idea to name it "Feked"? It has nothing to do with their business (unless they're running a porn shop on the side), and it will turn some people off who don't much like profanity.

It's like dealing with a shop called "Shitwhole" that sells curtain rods, or a garden center named "Klocksucker". Is it supposed to be Stunning and Brave?

It began with FCUK T shirts - and went from there. Now we have plenty of xxFA type logos.

Even before that, in gentler times, I recall Lansing Bagnall, makers of fork trucks and world force, being eclipsed by Climax fork trucks. Puerile humour sells - surely tells us a lot about people in general, I guess!

Actually, Feked are a really sound bunch. Keep it quiet but I did find them more helpful for AJS spares for my clutch than the owners club! And they bought two of my bikes for decent prices years ago.

I agree Nek. Purveyors of shite with an abysmal aftersales/customer care record. Warranty? Pffft. you fitted it wrong mate.
Most find them OK until things go wrong. Avoid at all costs...as it will, eventually.

Hi Jim,

I haven't used 'em because I've found TMS cheaper generally and, if I need specialist triple bits, I use either L.P. Williams or Andover Triumph (aka Andover Norton).

Past denizen of TriumphRat.Net's Classic, Vintage & Veteran forum posted his Feked-supplied T100's air filters fell apart after just eight months, because the spot welds hadn't been done properly. True not Feked's fault but crap stuff's crap stuff; if stuff's not of "satifactory quality", law says retailer must repair, replace or refund; Feked just refused.

He left it; in his place, I'd have been reminding Feked about their legal duty and maybe involving the credit card company.

Tried that, and they just stonewall. Ultimately you just give up for the sake of £40 or whatever, which is their plan all along.

You obviously haven't tried most credit card companies ...

Pay with a credit card for anything over £30, in law (Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974), the credit card company is liable jointly with the retailer under things like the Sale Of Goods Act. In reality, ime if the retailer doesn't cough when told, credit card company just takes the money off 'em and gives it to you, you get to keep the (broken

) bits too ('cos the retailer won't pay to get 'em back).

That's why, anything over £30, I pay with a credit card.

That said, while I've had A1 service from both Lloyds and Barclaycard, Santander for the missus were a pita 'til I applied the legal cattle-prod.

I never got even that long out of tin pancake type air filters from anywhere. Vibration cracked them.

I bought a set of ex pipes to be sent to oz, they kept me waiting 9 months ,I finally asked for my money back and it took them another 2 months to pay me, I keep getting their emails

I bought an exhaust pipe from them. The OD of the pipe was to big to fit in the head of my B33. When complaining was told it's your bike that's the problem as no one else has complained. They refused to pay the postage back. Will not buy anything from them now.

exhaust pipe manufacturer seem to be a singularly cantankerous lot in my experience.
Only time I tried to use phukked I went with a pocket full of cash to sort a one off pipe for a pre war bike.
10 mins of their attitude and I was back out the yard. Amazed they are still in business.

I have just looked at their reviews on Trustpilot, appears when ever its wrong its your fault, masters of sarcasm too.
