Summer is here

I think spring was one day a fortnight ago in Bath. Now it's wall to wall sunshine and 24C today. Too hot and sweaty to ride so I used my Birthday Bus Pass for free travel to a local city to admire its lovely cool cathedral.

Don't get them around here until State Retirement Age - still got a year to go to get mine !

Temps OK for riding here today for ride out to get the Interceptor MoTed. Added a ride out for lunch, but too much traffic about for a "fun" ride.

Yes, Somerset gives you a month of free bus travel in the area. It's great!

I have not applied for a bus pass but could have at age 60. Not used a bus since 1971 for college travel.

Yep have a pass used to be handy but now they have altered the bus routes

Buses? What are they? When we moved out here about 15 years back we had an hourly service to the nearest town & city, now there are 2/3 a day to the city, weekdays only.

We have very few buses thru' the village. they are usually empty apart from school kids twice a day . I'm amazed there's still any service at all.

It's Greener to ride the bus, but that means a bit of inconvenience, and no one here (and it sounds like there also) can be arsed any more.

I don't take health advice from people who think the world is overpopulated.
