I'll wager that if you took a random sample of the 59 Club boys' bikes from 1960, they would be heavily weighted toward stripped B31s and M20s ....

I had a B31 but a lot of my friends had Road Rockets and Triumph 650s of diffent types. I was on apprentice money, a lot of my friends were earning well.

My first bike was a B31 with ace bars, Burgess straight through silence and a leopard skin seat cover. Cool or what.
