Not so many deaths since better riding gear and airbag suits arrived but with those speeds, it is always going to happen. Condolences to their families.

Get your sportswriters sorted or buy them a thesaurus. "Horror crash, Horror incident" three times in one article.

We just don't expect these kinds of results on modern tracks, with engineered padding, good helmets, etc. But they go so unbelievably fast....

I was watching it on Quest TV CHANNEL the circuit looked dangerous to me that wasn't the only crash there were loads in each class didn't look safe for some reason there was plenty of run off areas but bikes just seemed to loose control

Terrible news - with 11 bikes going down I guess there was nowhere to go despite well engineered barriers etc.

A huge shock for their families.

Who needs a signature anyway......

A very sad day for the sport I love and do. One of the riders killed was a friend of my sons and I used to race with his grandad. Lovely family rip to you both and I hope the other badly injured rider makes a full recovery.

The oldest rocker in town!
