No more ULEZ con tax for me

I now have my Suzuki Bandit and Yamaha XJR1300 ULEZ compliant so more more money going to the Muslim midget

Good news Jerry. Its strange how these non compliant bikes, once just tested are compliant. All of mine would be alright without a piece of paper.
Of course, some 5 litre cars are compliant which takes the piss when a frugal bike is not compliant

Agreed. Seems that vehicles made before a certain date or set of Euro regs were declared non compliant with a blanket ban. The onus being put on the driver/rider to prove otherwise, at their cost.
From what I have seen on the 'net, all of my bikes would pass, although not on the 'compliant' list. As I have no intention of visiting any current ULEZ zones, I won't be paying out to get mine done any time soon.
I do wonder how many cities & towns will jump on the ULEZ bandwagon, to get the revenue.

I think quite a few more towns will jump on the money making con so maybe get your bikes passed while it's easy before they bring in more rules.

This begs the question, if you do visit a ulez zone and refuse to pay a fine imposed, why would you have to prove you were compliant, providing of course other bikes of the same build had already been passed compliant, surely that is the prosecutions job, at their cost. God help you if you are wrong though!

In any case, Jerry would be getting all his fines sent to some innocent third party. Judging by last night's tv on TFL's incompetence.

So easy to get chain grease smeared on a numberplate.Not sure how it happens but some bikes do get this black grease clinging to the letters and numbers.
