From what I've read here over the years, you guys don't get to pick your own license plate numbers.

Here, most people have custom plates on their cars. It's an ongoing battle for the state to figure out if a custom plate has some obscene meaning or not. Some of them are pretty subtle, but hilarious once you figure it out ....

Not a fan of personalised plates, but saw one that made me smile recently. It was was a 'septic tank' emptying wagon. 'POO 2'.
Guess I could sell the Ninja to a Tolkien nut - letters read ORC. The Blackbird would suit a rap fan - NWA.

The most pretentious one round here, Gloucestershire, G5TAD. Been on a succession of Porsches and similar over the years.
Was in the market square last week and, as usual, no loose bricks lying around.

When living in Ealing West London neighbour had No plate 1JAR now living in Devon local farmer a Range Rover 1JAR.

Still have my old number plates from my first bike AJS and ones off my Velo Venom also my old LE.
Plus the ones off my old Beetle they are on the kitchen wall.

For those with memories of whiskys past. The owner of a distillery in South Queensferry had a Jag with VAT 69.

PUF 69 was someone completely different

My Guzzi now wears GU22 GUZ largely because MO70 GUZ is on someone else's Guzzi.

There are a few Goldie's about with DBD 34 on the front number plate, with the correct number on the rear.
But there is one genuinely registered with that number.
