I prefer the look of those older HRD bikes. Not seen any around here for about 15 years when 3 turned up at once on the Dartmoor run. Lovely build quality and twin front brake drums etc

The red one loks hideous, but to the owner I am sure it looks great.

Salute to the folk that keep these bikes running and riding.

Who needs a signature anyway......

One with red tank is an Egli. There was one in Exmouth for many years and i offered the owner 21k for it about 20 years ago needing work. The owner decided to keep it non running but i saw it this year with a new owner who paid 33k then a lot more to rebuild it and get an age related number. It did have a 1973 M plate after it came back from Jersey. That long term owner paid 11k many years ago when it ran well.
It now has twin discs and a single disc rear from a Japanese bike but still looks very nice
