One of the reasons i retired early so i could ride around any time i wanted. Its worked out well and can still ride OK after a few adaptations to the bikes. At the annual Dartmoor run, i no longer recognise many of the riders. They all seem to have got too old and disappeared or departed. Still a lot of older riders but they are new ones to the ride.

feeling it now no bikes and no chance of riding again , first legal bike 1970 , last ride summer of 2025

not a bad innings on bikes , so not too sad

Can beat that first legal bike on road 1959 and still riding.

October 1958, but sadly haven’t used the two

1960 for me last rode a solo last year. I have been out on my outfit last month. Just trying to get the alinement right .

Unfortunately no riding or driving for me I'm always hoping but in reality I know that's not long to wait now cleared lots of stuff out now

I have had a licence since 1969 and no sign of giving up riding for quite some time. Its my only hobby so not easy to quit. Just hoping nothing hits into me but not had a bump since 1979. Very rare to ride weekends when the twats are out but weekdays are good.

First legal bike and riding 1960 still road riding and on race track. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones and I know it even after throwing myself up a race track this year and breaking a lot of my body.

Sometimes our own well being isn’t a factor in determining whether we ride or not. The well being of others can, and should, be taken into account. In my case exactly that occurred and although I now have the opportunity to ride, I still have other pressing priorities. I’m not complaining, just stating. I still have the desire and probably, intend, to ride again next year all being well.

Still ride most days. Little public transport in the sticks. And I don't drive. But most days it's on the 125, don't like to use the bigger bikes unless I feel up to it. Love the Blackbird (when it's behaving!) but think it'll go soon, due to the weight. The ZX-9R is a cwt lighter, so will remain as long as I can ride it.
