Scrotes

On a bimble yesterday I noticed that my fly screen fairing was lifting a bit when I met a bump.
Transpires that all four fixed threads in the plastic had been broken off and the fairing had been held there by magic.
Who on earth needs to nick the fairing off a 2005 Ducati, apart from another owner.

Are you sure it was scrotes who did it?

If they had it loose to where it would lift right off, why didn't they take it?

Vibration, especially Italian vibration, can do odd things.

Hmm. I suppose the plastic could have been in a friable state at that age and someone just knocked against it. Difficult to believe Italian manufacturing to be so poor though.

I'm with Lannis on this one. I found the rubber well nuts retaining the screen on my BMW had disintegrated after five years.
