6 penny or a tanner 2 1/5 pence today. 10 penny's old money not quite a full shilling so under 5 pence.

Penny sweets, ah the memories come flooding back. Do you remember the four little chews, either strawberry or liquorice, for one penny, or the sherbet dips. The little bag of lemonade powder or the lengths of liquorice. I could go on but I’m starting to dribble on the keyboard.
