Op day today

Back to Royal Marsden today for 3.30 op. Camera down throat and sample from cyst being taken. At least I'm told I will be put out but still not looking forward to it. Don't feel very Wel'ard today.

I've had many a probe up one end, and down the other (just last week was the last one, peeping down into my stomach.)

They dope you up good, you don't know a thing about it. Get someone to drive you home, although we well'ard rockers are better drivers when half woozy than most of them out there are on their best day!

Afraid my hospital stuffed it went in to have the polyp removed woke up in bed was kept in for three day then released home six months later jad appointment to see the surgeon only to be told had cancer of the colon no wonder i was having trouble crapping.. anyway OK now but age has caught up Shortly after hospital kindly gave me Sepsis so end of everything I like

Thanks Chaz wasn't so scary as I expected. All done in about three hours under full anaesthetic and recovery time very quick. Have to say the staff, nurses and Doctors are incredible at Royal Marsden Hospital. Doctor so far thinks should be ok but have to now wait for sample taken from cyst to be tested so finger crossed all ok.

Marsden is a good hospital. They will look after you.
