Looks like IKBA is dying Jerry seems to keep it going there is an IKBA2 Facebook site it just need more input from this site I am a member just need more to reactivate Just look it up and try.

Probably ‘cos you encouraged them to move a couple of weeks ago! A65 Bill is being very quiet, maybe he has lost interest. Geoff will be back in a few weeks so maybe he can re-kindle some enthusiasm. You are right Jerry has been the mainstay of late and I shall miss his postings as I miss postings from several old virtual acquaintances. It will be sad but no way will I be moving to Facebook!

That and we are down to 66 days of service remaining. I kicked in a months worth of service about 2 months ago. Maybe the site will just disappear in 2 months on it's own?

I'm on eight F/B sites one is IKBA the rest are sites of interest like Old Hounslow i messages from friends that remember old times also My old school friends , and even the Mametz WW 1 site which has been helpfull a so got messages most days I'm sure Jrrry is as lots of his pics are from FB

It's not just that people "can't be bothered".

I'll give you a couple examples.

1) I've never had any trouble with speed or access to this site.

2) I signed up for Facebook once and there's more shyte that comes along with it than I can stomach. Join this, look at THIS, aren't you interested in THAT, don't you want to friend all THESE people ....

3) My info all goes to make Mark Zuckerberg a trillionaire, so he can spend it on globalist, One World, green, progressive bull crap. Not funding that.

So I COULD be bothered but I won't.

Thing is Dave we had the unique IKBA so a New one wasn’t required. You have every right to go on as many, and as varied, sites as you choose but why try to redirect people from here to somewhere that has deliberately set up to do the very same, I don’t understand. For myself, due to my second choice of bike that has turned out so disappointing, my strong love of the classic bike has been on the wane for sometime so I will, like this site, just gracefully fall of the edge of the cliff when we run out of road. My pleasures gained, information received and many laughs along the way, will stay with me and I thank you all, including the many that have passed along the way, for each and every one of them. Thank you.

TBH Den I just cant be arsed to post here at the moment - mainly due to personal circumstances which I dont want to talk about at the moment.

As for feace book I rarely use it.

I will stay lurking whilst the site still lives, and might perhaps make some postings later in the year.

Seeing this thread made me want to post a response.
