NO not joking , its a chinease import with norton - villiers cast into engine side covers , and is registered LEGALLY in the UK as a norton 125

What puzzles me is why they all have to use the old names. Even Triumph isn’t what we knew of old, nothing like it. Why not let go and start anew. It’s not fooling anybody.

That's my whole take on the thing. I don't care if bikes are made in India or China. Just don't pretend that they are Benellis or Morinis or BSAs or whatever.

This one is so stupid that it may make people realize how dumb and useless the fakery really is!

I bet if BSA or Triumph hadn't gone down the pan, they would have moved manufacturing to India or China, oh, and Thailand. Most British manufacturing companies have done that.

Its a global problem (or phenomenon depending on your point of view).
Mate of mine was rather disgruntled to find his new Yamaha wasn't made in Japan but somewhere called France.
