I thought I was doomed.

SWMBO`S Wilkinson Sword scissors had a piece of the plastic handle come off, I Superglued it back on, and some glue must have got into the pivot pin, locking it.
Fortunately for my life, I managed to prise it open and oil it. All is well again.SIGH!

Leon, after gluing, you should rub your fingers together. That will occupy you for an hour trying to separate it all.

I find "dunking" fingers with superglue in baking soda , much more fun

I belive Acetone breaks down super glue.

The light at the end of the tunnel maybe an oncoming train
